What we collect

MySteamStats displays data from the official Steam Web API for profiles that are set to public on Steam. When you look up a profile, we fetch and briefly cache that public data (profile name, avatar, game list, playtime, badges, ban status, inventory contents) to render the page.

If you sign in

Signing in uses Steam's OpenID service. We receive only your SteamID64; we never see your Steam username or password. When you sign in we create an account keyed to that SteamID and begin storing periodic snapshots of your per-game playtime totals. Those snapshots are what power your playtime heatmap. You can stop tracking and request deletion at any time by contacting us.

If you subscribe

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status so we know which features to enable.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, we don't fetch data for profiles nobody asked about, and we only display what Steam already makes public. All data is presented as is, without warranty. If your Steam profile is private, we show nothing.

Cookies

One session cookie keeps you signed in. No third-party ad trackers.
